Hi there, The only way we are able to install HTML email signatures in Outlook on a Mac is by pasting the HTML code into a third party paid app called 'HTML Email Signature - Outlook'. This app allows the set up of unlimited email signatures on the one machine, except I have 20 staff that I need to complete this process for. Is there a way to share an email signature with another user who is using the same server/network? As soon as the email signature is copied, pasted or emailed and copied to another user, the formatting corrupts so is there a way to share the email signature file created in my Outlook using the third party app without having the need of copying and pasting? Using version 10 Microsoft Outlook for Mac on MacOS Sierra Version 10.12.6 Macbook Pro. Any help or guidance you can provide would be excellent.
Installing HTML email signatures in Microsoft Outlook. If you have comissioned a custom email signature from us, or created your own, here is how to install it in Microsoft Outlook 2010. Click “New” to create a new placeholder signature.
This problem is very frustrating! Hi Jodie, I hate answering questions when I am dead tired, but here goes.
I hope I at least partially address your concerns. I explored the Office App store for add-ins that deal with signatures.
I didn't see anything that claimed to use HTML the way you want it to work, but here's what I found: Would you object to using Microsoft Word as your message composition tool? Microsoft Word has a field called IncludePicture that I think can do what you are asking. My scenario is compose in Word, then use File Share Send HTML. I am an unpaid volunteer and do not work for Microsoft. 'Independent Advisors' work for contractors hired by Microsoft. 'Microsoft Agents' work for Microsoft Support.
Neither Microsoft Outlook 2011, 2016, 2019, nor 365 for Mac offer creation of email signatures from HTML. Only a rich-text editing box is provided, without the ability for more customization. HTML Email Signature - Outlook enhances these capabilities by allowing customized creation of email signatures from HTML. Simply type in a name for your signature, add your HTML, and your signature is created! A button to preview the HTML is also available. READ BEFORE PURCHASING.
Valid HTML must be provided. This is not a design utility. Issues with formatting and/or appearance of the final signature are directly tied to the HTML code. An installed version of Microsoft Outlook (2011, 2016, 2019, 365) is required for this application to function.
Affine, Does what it says! Super simple utility but works great. They warn you about needing to know HTML but if you have a signature in Word already formatted, it offers an option to copy as HTML and create the tags for you. Create your signature as you want it to look in Word first then copy it in as HTML (paste and select the option to copy as HTML) and take a look at the preview and it will be the same. Easy to use and looks great. Make sure in “Composing” preferences in Outlook for Mac that you also have it set to use HTML as the default for new emails or it will show as plain text.

When I have alt text in email signature, the first letter is missing in the alt text description. Any suggestions? Developer Response, Hi CometWaves - would you be willing to share your raw HTML code with us at [email protected]? Would be happy to investigate.
We can at least confirm within the signature file if the HTML was transferred properly or if it is an MS Outlook bug in handling it:).
